Designed for monitoring fuel consumption and opti-
          mizing the performance of engines and other shipborne
          systems, ServiceMarine collects and analyzes integrated
          data on the performance of propulsion plants, allowing
          for GPS and GLONASS tracking and data transmission
          via GSM and Iridium satellites.
             With ServiceMarine, accurate fuel consumption
          monitoring is provided for each engine. Its neural net-
          work helps to establish optimal operating mode and
          timely identify emergency situations associated with in-
          creased fuel consumption. The reporting and analytics
          module allows continuous logging and optimization of
          fuel consumption, bunkering, and power units operat-
          ing mode.
             ServiceMarine is multi-component. Its core, Lookout
          telemetry controller, can locate a ship in whatever part of
          the world. Technology performance data is transmitted
          over GSM channels or via Iridium satellite system. For
          better energy efficiency, data can be archived and trans-
          mitted at the prescribed time, for example, when entering
          a port or whenever GSM connection is resumed.
             Data is collected by sensors, installed on the main
          engine, auxiliary diesel generator, boiler and fuel receiv-
          ing station. The telemetry controller “takes a snap” of a
          wide range of parameters and is capable of maintaining
          data exchange with several servers simultaneously. Fuel
          consumption is measured by differential flow meters in
          the fuel line. Their installation does not require modify-
          ing the fuel supply scheme. Torque, rotation speed and
          shaft power are measured with the help of rotation sen-
          sor. Vibration sensor communicates vibration load mod-
          els, while exhaust gas temperature sensors check correct
          settings and performance of the engine and oxygen sen-
          sors measure the quality of the fuel-air mixture. The sys-
